Modern luxury wedding party walking at Hotel Zaza Museum District

Divino Suite, Room With A View, Grapevine Room, & Warwick Apartment:

David! You’re here!”, Karoline greets me, as she walks over to hug me. I entered The Divino Suite inside Zaza, and she introduces me to her bridesmaids and mom.

Your wedding day is a day of celebration. This is your once-in-a-lifetime all-day wedding in Houston where you are spending time with your closest friends and family. Your wedding day is special to you, there is so much planning to get every detail just right, you have a significant financial investment in your houston luxury wedding venue, wedding florist, live wedding band, top wedding planner and wedding planning team in Houston, and the top luxury wedding photographer in Houston because you know in your heart: after your wedding day, you will have your husband, these memories you will hold hold in your hands, hang on your walls, and share with your loved ones and with your husband for many decades. And you know what is special about your wedding pictures? You will show your children your wedding moments, and they will carry your family legacy for many generations. Did you realize how important your wedding photography in Houston is?

Getting-ready is a fun time where bride and her bridesmaids enjoy conversation, mimosas and chick-fil-a, and each other while getting-ready. I enjoy creating candid, non-posed wedding storytelling pictures during getting-ready because seeing the bride laughing and having a fun time with her bridesmaids and family all together is wonderful to witness. This is the start of the houston brides wedding day and storytelling wedding photography.

After hair and makeup is complete and getting-ready candids have been created to begin the wedding story. Next is when houston bridesmaids open their presents from Houston brides.

Around this time, the houston bride may decide to read a letter her fiancé wrote to her while she wears her robe. I’d she chooses to read her letter when wearing her wedding dress, that is up to her. Its presence. Both look wonderful.

Fun getting-ready robe pictures. When all getting-ready is complete, and entire houston bridal party is ready to get ceremony ready. A cute and fun photo session of bridal party wearing their getting-ready robes together and their mimosas or champagne as they enjoy each others company. Relaxed and candid pictures.

After robe pictures, the bridal party changes into their ceremony dresses. When all are ceremony ready, the bride will have a photo session showing the back of the dress closing up. This is a special moment because whoever the bride chooses to help her is featured. During this time, I position the houston bride in the room and I guide her and her mom, typically, through everything. I may ask houston brides to pause during their session while I change an angle or zoom in on her mom’s hands, as she buttons up the back of the dress. After the houston bride is ready. I will create bridal portraits inside the Divinvo suite, on the first floor near the piano, inside the Warwick apartment, or outside in front of hotel zaza near Rice University in West University area of Houston, Texas.

After all bridal party is ready, pre-ceremony coverage is next. During Karoline & Daniel’s wedding, MFAH across the street from Hotel Zaza Museum District was the location of choice. As the houston bridal party made their way to the wedding first-look location, candid walking pictures and bridesmaids helping bride with her dress as they crossed Main St were created. The Houston groom, Daniel, was already in location, positioned by my assistant.

Now the wedding first-look could happen. I gave both houston bride and houston groom instruction on what would happen, how to do their part, and overall enjoy their time. As the houston bride walked to her future husband, my wedding photography team in houston captured the entire event. After the weddibg photographer near me captured their first-look.

Next, wedding couple’s portraits, family and group pictures, and wedding party, bridal party, and grooms party pictures.

After the wedding pre-ceremony portion of the modern luxury wedding was completed, the houston wedding party prepared for wedding ceremony in Houston.

When photographing modern luxury weddings in Texas. There is one main consideration to consider: how will the ceremony be lit? With lighting, overhead room lighting, natural light, or a combination approach? When photographing their wedding ceremony inside Room With A View, I used light from the windows and from the overhead room lighting. Because there was a color difference between outside lighting and the inside room lighting. I had to do additional color detail editing on each ceremony picture. If I had not professionally color corrected all ceremony pictures, there would’ve been both blue and orange lighting on the pictures. After my editing, there was no inconsistencies. Pictures look wonderful!

Since the modern luxury bride chose to do pre-ceremony coverage, there was no post-ceremony group pictures. The weddings in Houston bride was able to visit with their guest immediately after ceremony and during cocktail hour.

During cocktail hour, inside The Grapevine Room at Hotel Zaza. This houston bride chose to have a private wedding day photo session inside The Warwick Apartment inside Zaza Houston.

After this private wedding day photo session, entire wedding party Entrances. Dinner from Perry’s Steakhouse near West Gray was after entrances. Then, open dance floor and the rest of the festivities.

As you can see. The most intense parts of the wedding day are in the start and the more relaxed events are after the ceremony. This is why when I meet with brides in houston for their wedding planners in houston timeline. I listen to what the houston bride to be wants to do during her wedding day in Houston, offer expert recommendations based on what she wants to do during her wedding in Houston, and I’ll suggest a wedding package for her to choose from, while she and her mom both look at a wedding album.

Time is that one non-renewable resource we will never get back. This is why when the houston bride to be chooses David Baker Studios, LLC professional wedding photography. I make it my goal to create her wedding-day timeline, in such a way, she will be enabled to celebrate, relax, and have a smooth all-day wedding. After all, how do you wish to remember your wedding day? Pro tip: bride wedding pictures also look great when the bride is happy and smiling  :-)
